Wartenfels Castle was originally owned by the Lords of Wartenfels. After the family line died out, the property was used for a long time as the seat of a bailiff. The castle has been continuously renovated and expanded over the centuries. It has been open to the public for over 20 years. As a special highlight, wine lovers have the opportunity to purchase the “castle wine” right on site.
Wartenfels Castle, with its elegant Baroque garden featuring classical elements, is open every Sunday from mid-May through the end of October, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In addition to various cultural events that take place on a regular basis, Wartenfels Castle can also be rented for private events.
