The Jura at its best: lovely hills, rugged ravines, and a variety of mountain inns. This stage follows the ridge of the southernmost Jura range, offering wonderful views across the Bernese Seeland all the way to the Alps. A thrilling descent into the Baroque city of Solothurn.
Stage 3, Weissenstein–Balsthal
From Weissenstein, the route winds through the varied, typical Jura mountain range landscape of the Thal Nature Park. After descending through the forest, a steep climb leads up to the second Jura mountain range.
Route C: The Sunny One MTB Route No. 560: Grenchen Bike Grenchen, Chappeli–Grenchen, Chappeli
The ideal training route in the forest at the southern foot of the Jura: Beautiful forest trails for warming up, a few challenging sections to improve your technique, and 5 km of flowing singletrack offer plenty of variety for experienced riders and hobbyists alike.
