From September 18 to 20, 2026, the right bank of the Aare River in Olten will once again become a gathering place for young and old. The 79th MIO Fair in Olten will offer three days of a diverse mix of exhibits, a market, food, and entertainment.
A special highlight is the new vintage Ferris wheel, which rises about 35 meters high right in front of the Friedenskirche and offers a spectacular view of Olten and the fairgrounds. One gondola is wheelchair-accessible.
The entertainment program also promises a variety of activities: The Gauklerarena from Suhr is making its first appearance, the Grüüveli Tüüfeli will entertain the young fairgoers, and the family relay race is all about having fun together.
In addition to numerous exhibitors, popular MIO classics such as Luna Park, alpacas, face painting for kids, food and drink, and the MIO Market await visitors.
