Capuchin Monastery in Solothurn

The 430-year-old Capuchin monastery is now a vibrant venue used for public, private, culinary, and cultural events.
People with disabilities are integrated into the work processes at the monastery. In addition, the monastery’s operations help combat food waste.
Guided Tours:
The Capuchin friars lead interested visitors on tours of the grounds—whether as a team-building event or a family outing—and share stories from days gone by. Public tours of the monastery are also offered several times a year.
The Monastery Garden:
The Monastery Club takes care of the gardening work in the monastery garden.
Events:
Various markets and events take place throughout the year.
