Capuchin Monastery in Olten

The Capuchin Monastery in Olten is a typical Capuchin complex, founded in 1648 by Jakob, Count of Solothurn. An additional story was added to the monastery building in 1931. The monastery church was restored in 1975. The main altarpiece of the monastery church was painted in 1640 by Johannes Will, a student of Rembrandt, and depicts a synoptic representation of the Passion of Christ.
