An idyllic place of spiritual energy: All Saints' Chapel in Grenchen

Located on the edge of the forest on the sunny side of the Jura, with a view of the city and the Alps, stands the Allerheiligen Chapel—a place of spiritual energy—also known colloquially as “Chappeli.”

The “Chappeli” was built between 1682 and 1683, and its interior features rich Baroque decor. The chapel was first mentioned in the 16th century, and records indicate that it was a frequently visited place of pilgrimage. Pilgrims came from far and wide. The chapel’s architecture incorporates both Gothic and Baroque elements, making it unique in the canton of Solothurn. It seats 100 people and is frequently used for private events such as weddings. Experience the special energy of this place!
