Stage 3, Solothurn–Wangen a.A.
After the hustle and bustle of Solothurn, you’ll quickly find yourself immersed in the relaxing greenery of the wooded riverbanks. Your destination is the charming town of Wangen a.A., with its historic bridge and picturesque old town.

Stage 4, Wangen a.A.–Murgenthal
Somewhat quieter than the major transportation routes, the Aare quietly winds its way through the Mittelland in northern Oberaargau. Far from the hustle and bustle, you’ll paddle through rural Switzerland, with cowbells and church bells providing the perfect soundtrack.

Stage 5, Murgenthal–Olten
Between Murgenthal and Olten, you’ll paddle along one of the most rewarding stretches of the Aare, where wild nature and human architecture come together. Here, you can experience the Aare in its most pristine form.

Stage 6, Olten-Aarau
On this energetic stage, hydropower generation shapes the character of the river. Several barrages showcase monumental feats of engineering. At the start and finish: the picturesque cities of Olten and Aarau, which are connected by the Aare.
